It has been a full weekend of events and a plethora of love has painted the important things in life.  I am so thankful for the people God has placed in my life.  Healing put me in a position to be able to feel the real painful feelings and I’ve done that this weekend.  It also allowed me to feel love and I’ve done so much of that this weekend too!

God’s timing is perfect.  I’ve really seen that play out this weekend and it has been very comforting.  I took my dog to the vet last week and she had pneumonia so they started her on some antibiotics.  She was a senior and had a very good life, but the infection was too much for her to battle so she passed away late Saturday night.  She was very sick last year, and I am grateful the Lord answered my prayer and let me keep her an extra year.  I can’t even express how loved that makes me feel.  On Saturday evening, I went to a celebration prayer service at my church.  A friend came with me to that service then she took me out to dinner and while I was eating I felt a strong urge to go home and check on her.  On the way home, the Holy Spirit prepared me, I was on my way to get my daughter and He said go home first and check on Josie.  I somehow knew it was going to likely be the end and as much as that hurt, all I could do was to ask God to anoint me to do whatever it was that needed to happen.

He is sooo faithful!!

I came home and she greeted me with a wagging tail.  Her breathing was worse and I picked her up with the intention of taking her to the emergency clinic.  I carried her into my bedroom and placed her on my bed to get my phone out and call the vet.  When I sit her down she laid down and I saw that her organs were shutting down.  Within only minutes, she passed with her head in my hand, and with me petting her.  I sang Jesus loves you and I got to talk her through going to meet Jesus.  It was really one of the most precious moments of my life.  She was at complete peace when she passed, angels were definitely in the room!  We made a deal, she will play with Spartacus and Katie, and I will see her again soon.

Yesterday in New Hampshire, my best friend from 9th grade got married!

We’ve been doing a 21 day corporate Daniel fast at church so we finished that today and had a special service to break the fast and celebrate all that God is doing.  We had a meal afterward.  We ate meat and we ate sweets!  I was super excited because two of my friends got to come to church with me.  Them coming really helped me feel better after just losing my dog.

That’s a pretty great weekend!  But God wasn’t finished yet.  We had a great church service and one of my friends went forward for the altar call and fully gave her life to Christ!!  We have officially moved to best weekend ever status!!!
