via Daily Prompt: Recognize

God is so faithful!!!  Oh my goodness, I love Him so much and I love seeing people get free!  I have gone through different levels of healing and I have experienced deliverance in stages as I was able to understand it at the age of the part/altar being healed.  Cassie was 8 and she was the one that could really see in the spirit realm.  She is fascinating to me now that I am not her and can look back and somewhat understand her survival skills and her heart.  She had great faith and she fell deeply in love with Jesus.  She understood that she had a heavenly Father and that she was a child of the Most High God.  She had a grasp on both of those concepts on a level that many adults struggle to attain.  She really had a child’s faith and she loved her Father and believed that He loved her.  She didn’t buy into the lies that the enemy sold all the others parts.  She was too convinced that God loved her to believe that she was at fault for the things that happened to her.  She had her issues and we went around and around over things because she was so needy, but she knew she was special long before anyone else did.  She is the only part that I know of that could see the spiritual atmosphere.  She could sense the bad spirits and she called them “shadow people” and she feared them greatly.  She had to work through the process of different parts going through deliverance as they got saved to get free from them.  She couldn’t do it all herself, she had to struggle until all the parts were on board and saved.  But she didn’t just recognize the bad things, she also knew how to worship and bring glory clouds into the room and that was her favorite thing to do.  She had a keen awareness of angels and she could ask the Lord to release angels to war on her behalf and she knew that she knew that He was going to do it.  It is strange to me for an 8-year-old to have so much more faith than I did, but that’s just how it was.  She knew all the parts and she was the only part that could communicate with all the other parts for a long time, so I guess maybe that is why she was so much stronger than the rest of them.

Random memory from when she was starting to integrate:  I can see her sitting in therapy and looking down and saying that she couldn’t see her body good and her feet were getting big and she thought she was disappearing.  So strange, the things that pop into my head from time to time now.

When we did integrate, I gained all that she was and it took my faith to a whole new level.  God was doing the impossible again and again and again.  It was unbelievable but it was really happening and it hasn’t stopped!

2 Corinthians 3:17  Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

God has brought me full circle and it was such a privilege to spend time today helping someone else get free.  The Bible tells us to give freely what has been freely given to us and I don’t even have words for how it feels to finally be able to do that.  I worked so hard to heal but now that I’m on this side of it, I’m starting to forget how hard it was.  Everything has become about reaching out to the hurting and broken people and giving them the opportunity to get free in Jesus.  There really isn’t too much else I care to do, I just want to share Him and His love so others can get free.

Isaiah 61:1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners;

I know the image that comes to mind when you hear the word deliverance is often based off of things people see on tv but that has never been my experience.  My own deliverance and again today was a precious time of the love of Christ filling the room and setting captives free.  As disciples, we recognize the authority we have in the name of Jesus and we use His power in obedience to Isaiah 61:1.

Matthew 10:18  He called His twelve disciples to Him and gave them the authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.

To recognize the freedom that comes with deliverance is to recognize the peace, the love, the new beginning, the miracles, the joy, the hope, the glory of God.

PRAISE THE LORD!  PRIASE THE LORD!  PRIASE THE LORD! PRAISE THE LORD!

He is worthy and another captive has been set FREE!

Who the Son sets free is free indeed!!
