The daily prompt is fitting.  I’ve had some great things happen in the last couple weeks and with that comes increased spiritual warfare.  It is rather joyous to know the enemy hates me so much but at the same time, it is not something I take lightly.  I am not afraid of him, his cohorts, or his tactics, but I am not going to naively sit around as if he could do no damage either.  This is not a time to forget to quicken my faith, put on the full armor of God, and offensively raise my sword for battle.

But I have to admit that I have been googling spiritual armor and the sword of the Spirit images this week.  I need to visualize myself looking like this: armor-of-god-1-ephesians-611

This image research is important because I have had quite a few laughs this week as I see myself running to my Heavenly Father for protection.  Those images haven’t been so armored up.  They have been more like this:

See the smile on my face, running right to Him in total confidence that I won’t be dinner?

Maybe a compromise is in order.  Roadrunner in armor ha!
